In 2022 when aRoastia was an inkling of an idea and roasting was done at home, we started making these single serve pour over packets. They served as an easy way to enjoy a cup of specialty coffee with minimal equipment or experience needed. These packets soon became our calling card, and we've been giving them out ever since. We always got the question of when they'd be available for sale, and now the time is here.
With absolutely stunning artwork by Brooklyn visual artist @exvertebrate we are introducing the Single Serve Packet Tin, filled with ten packets. Each tin is sealed with a peel label that has a one-way degassing valve. The packets are biodegradable, and depending on where you live likely compostable. You add one cup (about 225 grams) of water off the boil while the packet sits over your mug. Perfect for on the go. Purchase of the tin also makes you eligible to buy monthly refill packs of 10 additional packets. The tins are currently shipping with our Ethiopian coffee from the farms of Musa Abalulesa in Oma Fontule; each tin has a label on the bottom identifying the coffee.
